OPERATING PLAYBOOK / 001

FROM REGISTRATION
TO PAYOUT.

One operational system for the moment your joint venture gets organized through the moment every stakeholder can see what they are owed.

THE OPERATING JOURNEY

SET IT UP ONCE.
LET THE LEDGER DO THE CHASING.

The public demo shows this workflow end-to-end. The implementation note below separates the live ledger capabilities from the product controls still required for commercial launch.

  1. 01

    Create your workspace

A workspace is the shared operating room for one joint venture: its offers, stakeholders, payout history, and source-of-truth ledger. Invite the people who need visibility before the launch begins.

    WORKSPACE CREATED
  2. 02

    Connect Stripe

Start in Stripe test mode. Add the API secret and webhook signing secret, then confirm that FWMGAB can verify a test event before connecting your live account.

    STRIPE VERIFIED
  3. 03

    Set the rules

Add the partners, the offers they are launching, and split rules that total exactly 10,000 basis points. Add optional affiliate tiers for the people driving revenue.

    SPLITS LOCKED
  4. 04

    Route the sale

Your checkout creates a Stripe PaymentIntent with workspace, offer, and optional affiliate metadata. The payment system stays Stripe; the operating ledger stays FWMGAB.

    CHECKOUT READY
  5. 05

    Let the ledger reconcile

A signed charge event retrieves the real Stripe fee, calculates the net allocation in cents, and updates every stakeholder. A refund reverses the original allocations proportionally.

    SALE + REFUND SAFE
  6. 06

    Close the payout loop

Use the shared stakeholder view to approve the payable balance, export the payout record, and record the completed payment. Direct Stripe Connect payouts are a planned extension.

WHEN FWMGAB FITS

HIGH-TICKET SALES ARE A TEAM SPORT.

01

CO-LAUNCHED PROGRAMS

A creator and operator split a flagship offer while preserving a clean launch record for both sides.

02

AFFILIATE-LED SALES

Commission tiers move with attributable volume, without recalculating every partner split by hand.

03

REFUND-HEAVY WINDOWS

Partial and full refunds reverse the exact original allocation so payout day is not a negotiation.

THE RECEIPTS

THE QUESTIONS
THAT KILL THE GROUP CHAT.

01What happens when a customer completes a high-ticket purchase?+

Stripe sends a signed charge.succeeded event. FWMGAB verifies it, reads the actual processing fee from the Balance Transaction, calculates the net split in integer cents, and creates the stakeholder ledger entries.

02Can FWMGAB handle complex multi-party collaborations?+

Yes. The ledger supports 2–14 stakeholders per transaction, with partner weights, affiliate tiers, and platform fees calculated in a single deterministic pass. Every allocation is balanced to the cent.

03What platform integrations are available?+

FWMGAB includes adapter patterns for creator platforms (Gumroad, Patreon), payment rails (PayPal, digital assets), and banking reconciliation. Detailed integration specs are provided during approved onboarding.

04How are affiliate tiers handled?+

When an affiliate code is supplied, FWMGAB looks up the affiliate's tracked volume, selects the highest tier reached, reserves that commission, and proportionally scales the partner pool to the remaining basis points.

05What happens when there is a refund?+

A refund.created event finds the original charge and creates proportional negative entries against the original stakeholder allocations. Partial refunds do not exceed the original sale; fully refunded sales are marked refunded.

06Does FWMGAB move money between stakeholders?+

The current ledger records payable balances and payout history; it does not custody funds. Workspace owners can pay manually and record the payout. Direct Stripe Connect payouts are a planned extension.

07What does FWMGAB cost?+

FWMGAB offers four tiers to match your launch volume. Starter is free (1.0% volume fee, capped at $99/mo). Pro is $29/mo + 0.5% volume fee (capped at $199/mo, 5-day free trial). Scale is $99/mo + 0.25% volume fee (capped at $499/mo, 5-day free trial). Enterprise is custom-priced for platforms and high-volume teams. Launch Mode is a one-time $99 per launch + 0.5% volume fee with no monthly commitment. All volume fees are calculated on tracked gross sales processed through your Stripe account.

08How does the monthly billing cap work?+

Every tier includes a hard monthly cap on your total bill (base + volume fees). For example, Pro is capped at $199/month total. If your tracked volume would generate more than $170 in volume fees (0.5% of $34,000+), you stop accruing fees for the rest of the billing period. The cap is enforced in FWMGAB's ledger engine before any usage is reported to Stripe — you'll never receive a surprise bill above your tier's cap. Your Stripe invoice will show the cap and how much you saved that month.

09How is the volume fee calculated and collected?+

The volume fee is calculated as a percentage of your tracked gross sales (0.5% for Pro, 0.25% for Scale, 1.0% for Starter). Each time a charge.succeeded webhook is processed, FWMGAB reports the volume to Stripe's metered billing system. Stripe automatically adds the volume charges to your monthly invoice alongside your base subscription. You can see your cumulative volume and fees in real time from your workspace dashboard. The fee is only charged on actual completed sales — refunded transactions do not count toward your volume.

10Can I switch between tiers?+

Yes. You can upgrade at any time — the new tier takes effect immediately and your cap is prorated for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If you're on Starter and your volume exceeds $10,000/month, you'll be prompted to upgrade to Pro. Launch Mode users can convert to a subscription at any time.

11Is FWMGAB my accountant or tax adviser?+

No. FWMGAB is an operating ledger, not accounting, legal, tax, or investment advice. Export the data and work with qualified advisers for reconciliation, tax filings, and contractual questions.
